Leading International band,
Bagatelle featuring Liam Reilly, will be making a return first visit to the
Best Western White Horse Hotel Campsie, L’derry on Saturday night 11th
October in aid of local charities.
The evening will be hosted
by local company, Helping Hands N.I. Charity and Event Solutions with profits
on this occasion allocated to Zest North West Charity.
Bagatelle band’s current success is the continuation of
a career which started in January 1978, which saw the band playing at full
steam in the united States, Canada, England and Ireland for six years non stop,
creating several Gold, Platinum albums and singles along the way.
The band which has brought us
such memorable hits as ‘Second Violin’, ‘Love is the Reason’, and ‘Leeson
Street Lady’, is still playing to packed houses, throughout the country.
Bagatelle have shared stages
with artistes such as Bob Marley and Don Mc Lean and have had albums produced
by Phil Coulter and Gus Dudgeon who has produced for David Bowie and Elton
John.
In the last few years Bagatelle
have released two albums and two singles. Bagatelle Gold was released in
conjunction with the band’s 25th anniversary Tour and the most
recent Album ‘The Irish Connection’ is only available via the Internet and is
sure to become a collector’s item. Many of the songs in the album have been
penned by Liam Reilly such as ‘Boston Rose’, ‘Streets of New York’, and ‘Going
back to Ireland’.
Bagatelle’s
popularity and there own very particular style of music continues to reach
across the generations.
Warm up Act on the night is by the North
West’s own Dale Thomas commencing at 9pm and he will be followed by Bagatelle
from 10pm till 12 midnight.
