WEDDING BANDS FOR HIRE IN DONEGAL AND SLIGO

David Craig was born in1983 and is from Inch Island Co Donegal. He has been singing and playing guitar since the age of 8, and has played on the folk and ballad scene since the age of 16, but always had a keen love of country music. David has played with different bands through the years, including fronting the “Cufflinks” from 2009 up until 2013. He has now put together his own band simply called “The David Craig Band” and they are now on the road covering Weddings, Dances, and Festivals Etc… 

Over the years he has been writing songs and poems, 6 of which can be heard on his 14 track album “Its Good To See You” available here on his website, or in most record stores. In 2012 he wrote a song for Donegal all Ireland champions called “Come Back Sam Maguire” which received great reviews in and around Donegal and has over 65,000 hits on you tube.

Still writing songs and poems, David released a brand new album in August 2014 called “The Craic was 90″ and like his first album it’s getting great reviews all over.
Over the years he has played all over Ireland, England, Scotland and in the USA.

The band play all kind’s of music from country jive’s and waltz’s, to folk rock (i.e.) Whiskey In The Jar, Dirty Old Town, Fields Of Athenry, Ratlin Bog, Irish Rover etc… most of these songs will be mixed in together with Irish tunes on the fiddle and guitar solos etc… other great sets through the night from rock ‘n’ roll trough to ceile dances, raping up with greats such as ‘Proud Mary, Some girls will, Tommy K, wake me up, wagon wheel etc… through the night fun and games with your guest will inc: The dance off and sing off with the ladies and gents this is a great way to involve all the crowd, The David Craig Band will play what it takes to keep your dance floor rocking all night.
