WEDDING DJ'S FOR HIRE IN BELFAST AND NORTHERN IRELAND

Decades of Great Music - Years of Experience

Corey Music & Event Promotions have a team of DJ’s who are basically ‘party specialists’, If your celebrating, they will get the party going in no time” we can also supply presenters from leading Radio and TV stations to raise the profile of your event.

So you’re planning your Wedding and obviously you’re looking for entertainment for your Party. Your Wedding entertainment will in most cases account for nearly 50% of your day and most likely will include guests from all age groups. You need a professional, reliable DJ who will cover every detail relevant to your party entertainment, leaving you to enjoy your evening mixing with friends and family and dancing the night away.
Choosing the right entertainment is the key to the overall success of your Wedding Reception. The "Party" is the finale to your Wedding Day and should leave a lasting impression on you and your guests.
Disco Entertainment for the full evening  is fast becoming the first choice of couples who want to benefit from being able to select a playlist , involve their guests in the music choice and of course benefit financially by not having to hire a Wedding band which can be a very expensive additional to your reception costs.
Why Choose a DJ instead of a Wedding Band?
DJ v Band
  • DJ Plays the Original Songs - Why listen to cover versions?
  • Our DJ’s play the tunes most wedding bands play in their standard sets
  • DJ Volume can be controlled - Bands normally play at a set level - too loud too bad
  • DJ Playing Time Standard 5 Hours + Band Standard Playing time 2.5 hrs maximum
  • DJ Will play your favourite songs and take requests - Bands will most likely have a  Fixed Set List
  • DJ will take up less room area if space is limited
  • DJ is  significantly more cost effective than band
Make Your Entertainment a High Priority
A number of major Bridal magazines have published some interesting facts you should consider before choosing your entertainment.
81% of Wedding guests surveyed said the most memorable part of the day was the evening party.
Before getting married Brides highest priorities were Dress, Venue and Food - Interviewed after their Honeymoon 78% of Brides said they would have made their Wedding Entertainment come second after the Dress.

Nearly 100% of Brides surveyed said they would have spent more money on their Entertainment
"Lets Get This Party Started"
So It's the Evening of your Wedding Party - Here's What Happens
As soon as our dj  arrives ( normally an hour before the time stated on your Evening Invitations)They will speak to you directly to let you know they've arrived or pass a message to you through the duty manager .
Wedding meal finishes and guests are normally asked to retire to another area of the venue whilst the staff set the room up for the Evening Party – our dj will set-up and sound check and set the lighting to create a chilled pre first dance mood.
Once Set-up of the amplification equipment is complete they will speak to the B&G regarding how the first dance will be announced and finally they check all other "special” dances are correct.
The guests are invited back into the room..... they then check to make sure all the Bridal Party , Parents etc are in the room prior to the first dance and the Bride has not gone to "Powder her Nose" at the last minute !
The First Dance is announced and the first bars of the chosen music will coincide with the Bride & Grooms first steps onto the Dance floor.... the Party has started.

Questions you need to ask your DJ
1. How many weddings do you do per year?  How much experience do you have?
This is an extremely important question.  Ideally, your wedding professional should have ample experience specifically with weddings.  Not only will they be more skilled in their craft, this also makes them a valuable source of information and ensures that your wedding day goes smoothly.
2. How much do you cost?
Price is often relative, especially when you factor in experience, reputation and expert skill.  Generally, the most talented professionals have a higher price tag because they are worth it.
3. How much is the deposit?
4. What specifically is included in that cost?
Because packages often vary, it’s likely that you won’t be able to compare one vendor exactly to the next without doing a little figuring.  The lowest cost isn’t necessarily the best deal; some higher quotes include services that you have to pay extra for in other packages.  Make sure you take this into account.
5. What happens if I cancel?  What happens if you cancel?
Find out if your deposit is refundable under any conditions.  Does the wedding professional have a back up plan if something happens to them?
6. Do you offer a contract?
If the answer is No, RUN!  A contract is designed to protect both you and the wedding professional.  Don’t settle for a verbal agreement. It may not offer you the same protection should things go pear shaped.
7. Are there any additional fees?
Taxes, service charges and travel fees can add up quickly.  Make sure you understand exactly what is included and if there are any other fees you’ll have to pay.  This should be clearly defined in your contract.
8. Do you carry liability insurance?

The answer you’re looking for here is Yes.  This protects you in case an unfortunate accident should occur on your wedding day.  It’s also a sign that this is a reputable business, since most “fly by night” operations don’t invest in insurance.
If chosen wisely, with the right wedding vendors you get expert help and advice…for free!
